Other Items Needed:
Step 1: Roll out black Creatibles DIY Air Dry Clay into the shape of a “worm” that has even thickness throughout. Keep rolling until it is 12 inches long.
Step 2: Repeat with the brown Creatibles DIY Air Dry Clay, cutting it slightly shorter at 11 inches.
Bend black clay into an arch and lay the brown piece underneath. To ensure the clay sticks, you can wet your fingers and gently rub the area where the black piece and brown piece attach.
Step 3: Create a 10 inch red arch and place it underneath the brown arch.
Step 4: Create a 9 inch orange arch and place it underneath the red arch.
Step 5: Create an 8 inch yellow arch and place it underneath the orange arch.
Step 6: Create a 7 inch long green arch and place it underneath the yellow arch.
Step 7: Create a 6 inch long medium blue arch and place it underneath the green arch.
Step 8: Create a 5 inch long purple arch and place it underneath the medium blue arch.
Step 9: Create a 4 inch long light pink arch and place it underneath the purple arch.
Step 10: Create a 3 inch long light blue arch and place it underneath the light pink arch.
Step 11: Create a 2 inch long white arch and place it underneath the light blue arch.
Step 12: Make an upside down “U” with a 3 inch long gray arch and place it on the backside of your rainbow, press the ends gently into the clay, adding water as needed to ensure it sticks.
Allow your creation to dry before turning over the rainbow.
Step 13: Now it’s time to add some clouds! On White DIY Cover Sketchbook, draw two fluffy clouds about the width of the short side of the paper.
Step 14: Cut the clouds out (adult supervision required).
Step 15: Glue the back of clouds to the front of the rainbow, making sure to cover the ends. Allow to dry.
Voila! Your vibrant rainbow artwork is complete! This easy art and craft project will have you glowing with Pride!
