Fall is the perfect season to embrace cozy creativity, and what better way to celebrate than by making your own vibrant, fall-inspired trinket dishes. With the leaves changing and the weather cooling down, you can craft these adorable dishes using OOLY Creatibles Deluxe Air Dry Clay Kit and OOLY markers. Featuring charming leaf designs, these clay dishes are perfect for storing little treasures, brightening up your room, or gifting to loved ones. Best of all, this kid-friendly project lets you dive into the spirit of the season while having fun with colors and shapes. Let’s jump right in and get crafting!

Time Duration: 20+ minutes + additional time for clay to dry

Skill Level: Beginner

 Other Items Needed:

  • Rolling pin
  • Leaf shaped cookie stamp

Directions:

Step 1: Start by selecting your favorite clay color from Creatibles Air Dry Clay Kit Deluxe. Place it on a flat surface and use a rolling pin to roll it out flat like a pancake. Try to get the clay about 1/4 inch thick.

Step 2: Now that your clay is rolled out, it’s time to give it some shape! Use a round object as a guide to create a dish shape, cutting off excess clay from around the edges.

Step 3: Next, use a leaf-shaped cookie stamp to create a leaf pattern in the clay. Gently press the tool into the clay to create the outline of a leaf.

Step 4: To create the sides, or rim of your dish, roll out a thin, snake-like piece of clay. Make sure it’s long enough to go around the edge of your circular clay base.

Step 5: Carefully attach the thin piece of clay to the edge of your circular clay piece. Gently press the rim and the base together, smoothing out the connection to ensure they are securely attached. This will give your dish a nice, raised edge. Let the clay dry overnight.
