Materials Needed:
- OOLY Chunkies Paint Sticks Variety Pack
- OOLY Yummy Yummy Scented Glitter Gel Pens
- OOLY Itsy Bitsy Stickers (Candy Time & Googly Eyed Food are the ones I used)
- Black Paper to make Bags with Handles (or Neutral Color Bags with Black Paper attached)
- Colored / Patterned Paper
- Scissors
- Glue
1. Select & Create Your Bag
Select a black paper bag with handles to decorate. You can also staple black paper to a neutral colored bag for the same effect. I used some of the black sheets from The Paper Works Sketchbook, they are perforated and easily tear out. Then simply cut your paper to the size of your bag-front & back and staple or paste in place.2. Decorate it!
Come up with a concept for your trick or treat bag. Cute candies or a witch trick-or-treaters are just two ideas - but the possibilities are endless! First, glue the paper components to the bag and then let them dry. Circles and other simple shapes work great as candies or pumpkins.3. Personalize it!
Don't forget the back of the bag! This area is a great spot for adding style and text like, 'Trick-or-Treat' or 'Boo'. You can even personalize it with your name!4. Fill it!
Add more than just candy to your Halloween trick or treat bag. Fill your Midnight Trick-or-Treat Bags with lots of creative goodies. Candy doesn't have to be the only thing! (Surprising, I know!) Some fun fillers are Halloween pencils, stickers, erasers, small toys, or even a cute festive mask.If you enjoyed this post, I'd love to invite you to check out my artwork, blog and OOLY's super colorful Instagram page for daily creative fun and inspiration! xo Lady Lucas
